Ronald J. DeHaas announces provisional patent pending status on his following
Invention:
System and method for implementing time constraints for use of specific Internet programs or protocols
Many programs already provide various time constraints for the general use of the Internet. However, there is a need for providing time constraints which are more specific. Therefore this invention provides the following claims.
Claim 1. Wherein an Internet filter provides time constraints on specific programs such that said programs may not be used at specified times, as determined by an account administrator.
Claim 2. The system and method of claim 1 wherein said time constraints include total time per day, per week, or per other specified time period.
Claim 3. The system and method of claim 1 wherein said time constraints include one or more specified time ranges throughout the day.
Claim 4. The system and method of claim 3 wherein specified time ranges may be different on different days, as specified.
Claim 5. Wherein an Internet filter provides time constraints on specific Internet protocols such that said protocols may not be used at specified times, as determined by an account administrator.
Claim 6. The system and method of claim 1 wherein said time constraints include total time per day, per week, or per other specified time period.
Claim 7. The system and method of claim 1 wherein said time constraints include one or more specified time ranges throughout the day.
Claim 8. The system and method of claim 3 wherein specified time ranges may be different on different days, as specified.
